Massage for neck & shoulder pain.

The most common thing clients walk in with — and some of the most rewarding to fix.

Neck and shoulder pain is the signature complaint of modern life: hours at a screen, a phone tipped forward, stress that quietly parks itself in your traps. Left alone it becomes a dull constant, and sometimes a headache. It also responds beautifully to the right hands-on work.

How Marc approaches it

Marc combines deep tissue and trigger point therapy to release the specific muscles doing the damage — upper traps, levator scapulae, the small muscles at the base of the skull — and to shut down the referral patterns that turn a shoulder knot into a headache. The goal isn't a pleasant hour; it's measurably looser range of motion when you walk out.

You might recognize

  • A tight band across the tops of your shoulders that never fully lets go
  • Turning your head feels restricted on one side
  • Tension headaches that start at the base of the skull
  • Pain that flares by the end of every workday

Marc restored my full range of motion in a single session after I'd struggled with my shoulder for a year.

Common questions

How many sessions until it improves?

Many people feel real relief after one focused session, with lasting change over a short series. Marc will tell you honestly what he's feeling.

Is my desk job the cause?

Often it's the biggest contributor. Marc can point out the patterns and suggest simple adjustments alongside the hands-on work.

60 or 90 minutes for neck and shoulders?

60 minutes handles the area well. Choose 90 if you also carry tension into the upper back or want fuller work.
